The dense fog that engulfed northern India on Tuesday morning affected the schedule of Indore bound trains and flights.
“Four trains arrived in the city late than their usual time due to the fog. The condition is likely to persist for a month or so as dense fog along the routes of these trains will make it difficult for them to stick to their timings, “ said Pradeep Sharma, PRO (Western Railway).
The Hazrat Nizamuddin Intercity express arrived at 1.15 pm more than an hour behind it scheduled arrival at 12 noon while Malwa Express arrived at 3.20pm, two and half hours late than its scheduled time of 12.50 pm.
