A total of 14 senior officers of Pune police, four of them of assistant police commissioner (ACP) rank and the remaining police inspectors (PI), have been transferred internally.
The ACP foreign registration office (FRO) Rajkumar Shinde, ACP Vasant Sonawane (administration), ACP Prakash Gharge (Headquarter) and ACP K C Lavange (traffic) have been transferred to city division, Swargate division, Khadki division and Deccan division respectively.
Inspector Satish Devre has been transferred from the Anti Narcotics Cell (ANC) to Hinjewadi police station.
Other transferred inspectors include Mohan Vidhate (Crime branch to Pimpri police station), Shivaji Tambare (Economics Offence Wing to Bharati Vidyapeeth police station), Chandrakant Ghodke (Kothrud police station to crime branch), Ganpat Madgulkar (Hinjewadi police station to crime branch), Tukaram Gaud (Pimpri police station to special branch), Ulhas Narnor (Kothrud police station to traffic branch), Raghunath Jadhav (Market Yard police station to Hadapsar police station), Pandharinath Mandhare (Hadapsar police station to special branch), SB Nikam (Chatuhshrungi police station to Bund Garden police station).
