Indian priest kidnapped by ISIS freed, tweets Sushma Swaraj
External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj tweeted that Father Tom Uzhunnalil, a Catholic priest abducted by ISIS from Yemen in March 2016 has been rescued. Father Uzhunnalil, who hails from Kerala, was abducted in March by the terror group, which attacked an old-age home run by Mother Teresa's Missionaries of Charity in southern Yemeni city of Aden. Jyalalithaa to be 'eternal general secretary', says united AIADMK camp
The All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) General Council on Tuesday adopted a resolution to sack VK Sasikala from interim General Secretary post. "Late J Jayalalithaa will be the permanent GS of the party," the resolution said. It also abolished the GS posts. The meeting also adopted a resolution to retrieve two leaves symbol frozen by Election Commission. It also ratified merger of O Panneerselvan and Edappadi K Palanisami factions. Barrel of newly-acquired M Howitzer gun damaged after field firing in Pokhran
