JNU Admission 2019: Online registration for entrance exam to begin today; check fee hike details at www.jnu.ac.in

JNU will open the online registration window for the JNUCEE 2019 today.

JNU will open the online registration window for the JNUEE 2019 today. The Jawaharlal Nehru University will release the online registration form on the university's official website jnu.ac.in. Interested candidates can log on to the official website to register and submit their application form.

The JNUEE 2019 prospectus will also be released on the website today, 15 March 2019. In 2019, JNU for the first will conduct the online entrance examination. National Testing Agency will conduct the online JNUEE 2019 in MCQ (multi-choice question method. 

JNU Examination 2019 will be conducted in 2019 for a total of 3383 seats, out of which, 1043 seats are for MPhil and PhD courses. The JNUEE 2019 will be conducted in 127 cities. However, the university also plans to increase its entrance exam fee by over 300%. JNUSU on 14 March 2019 called for a strike in the wake of the university's decision on the change in fee structures. The prospectus was allegedly leaked on the social media with details of the fee hike. 

According to the notification of the University Grants Commission (UGC), the selection process for the MPhil & PhD program will be based on entrance exam followed by Viva Voce subjective evaluation. The entrance exam score will carry 70% weightage and viva on subject evaluation will be of rest 30%. The selection for  A/MA/MSc/MTech/COP/DOP programs would be based solely on the MCQ based entrance exam (100% weightage).
