BANGALORE: Security was stepped up in Karnataka, particularly in the districts bordering Andhra Pradesh, in view of the bomb blasts in Hyderabad on Saturday.
"Our officers have been asked to gear up the police force and put in place all required measures to check any untoward incident in the state," ADGP (Law and Order) Shankar M Bidari said.
Police in districts bordering Andhra Pradesh had been directed to keep a strict vigil and security was beefed up in railway stations and bus terminals, he said.
