Counting for the Karnataka Assembly Elections 2023 began at 8 am on Saturday. Several political stalwarts of Karnataka are contesting from the Bangalore region constituencies.
In Bangalore South, BJP's M Krishnappa emerged at the top with 1,66,958 votes, taking over 56 percent of total counted votes. Congress' RK Ramesh was a distant second 1,15,563 votes. JD(S)' HP Rajagopala Reddy is third with 19,271 votes.
Voting for the Karnataka Assembly Elections 2023 took place on May 10. Congress dominated the polls and is leading on 130 seats as per the latest date from the Election Commission (EC). On the other hand, incumbent BJP is likely to end up with around 65 seats. JD(S) is leading on 22 seats.
