As per reports, Naveen ran away after his girlfriend threatened to spoil his wedding by drinking poison in front of the wedding guests.

An incident reported from a village in Tarikere taluk of Chikkamagaluru district in Karnataka has shocked everyone. During a wedding ceremony the bride married a guest present in the venue after the groom fled from there.

Two brothers, Ashok and Naveen, were scheduled to get married on Sunday at the same venue. Naveen and his bride Sindhu enjoyed the pre-wedding rituals on Saturday. However, when the D-day arrived, Naveen disappeared.

Bangalore Mirror reported that Naveen ran away after his girlfriend threatened to spoil his wedding by drinking poison in front of the wedding guests. Naveen fled from his wedding on the D-day to meet his girlfriend in Tumakuru, leaving his bride-to-be Sindhu alone in the wedding venue.

Naveen's brother Ashok tied the knot with his bride while Sindhu's family was still in shock.

As Sindhu was left heartbroken and could not be consoled, her family decided to get her married then and there. They thought of finding a suitable groom from the wedding hall itself.

Surprisingly, Sindhu's family found a suitable groom for her. A guest named Chandrappa, who works as a BMTC conductor, agreed to marry Sindhu.

Chandrappa had witnessed the events of the day unfold in front of him and volunteered to marry her if both the families agreed to their union.

Once the families agreed, Sindhu and Chandrappa took their wedding vows at the same venue on the same day.

In a similar incident in 2019, a bride from Sironj city of Madhya Pradesh ran away with the priest who performed her wedding rituals two weeks after the ceremony.

The bride took away jewellery worth Rs 1.5 lakh and Rs 30,000 in cash while fleeing. During the investigation, it was found that they were in a romantic relationship for two years.
