The Lok Ayukta court today adjourned to December 5 for further hearing, the bail applications filed by former minister Katta Subramanya Naidu, his coporator son Jagadish and Managing Director of Itasca Software firm SV Srinivas, the main accused in Karnataka Industrial Area Development Board (KIADB) land scam.

While counsel for Katta, CH Jadav sought regular bail for his client to enable him to seek stem cell treatment in Royal Hampstead Hospital in London as the cancer "has recurred and is an aggressive stage".

Counsel for Jagadish, MV Shankarappa, quoted a Supreme Court judgement in the 2G Spectrum scam, involving Rs1.75 lakh crore, where DMK MP Kanimozhi and four other accused were granted bail and argued that his client Jagadish was entitled for the grant of regular bail.

The court then adjourned further hearing of all the three applications to December 5.
