With a saffron scarf wrapped around her neck, BJP's Delhi CM nominee, Kiran Bedi says, "I noticed that BJP's sacrifice, intentions, moral values, leadership, simplicity- everything that I have seen in this party, is unparalleled. The country is in competent hands and it is leading towards development and change. That is why I chose to be a part of this party to serve Delhi better"
Talking about her past days of andolan with Anna Hazare, and now rival Arvind Kejriwal, Bedi says, "What did you get out of agitation? One year later, Delhi is voting again. Enough of Jantar-Mantar, enough of Ramlila maidan, now it is time to bring about a change."
Even before BJP announced Bedi as their CM nominee, in an interview to Zee Media, Bedi opened up with her plans of governance if the party came to power. She mentions an open control room number that will be available to Delhi 24x7 as a grievance redressal system. She believes if the national capital Delhi is developed, then the country is developed. She is here to make sure that Delhi is safe and secure, she says.
