Security was intensified at Kolkata's Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose airport following a call that warned of a terror attack.

ANI reported that the Kolkata Police's headquarters in Lalbazar PCR received an anonymous warning call from a male caller allegedly claiming that "a person is planning to blow up the Airport".

Authorities are on alert and are taking stock of the situation.

According to India Today, a probe has been launched to trace the call and check its veracity.
