The notice came hours after the CM told employees of the hospital that it was management's responsibility to provide them job security.

AMRI Hospitals Ltd Tuesday said it will retain all employees and staff of its Dhakuria hospital, where a devastating fire claimed 93 lives on December 9.

A notice issued by the management on Tuesday evening came hours after Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee told protesting employees of the hospital that it was the management's responsibility to provide them job security.

The notice read "Management appeals to all the employees to continue their employment as usual, considering the severity of the crisis the hospital is facing.

"Employees are also hereby informed that the salary payments shall not be in anyway affected and they will be getting their salaries and dues as always."

The management also expressed condolence for two nurses, Vineetha PK and Remya Rajappan, who died saving patients on that fateful day.

During a surprise visit to the hospital this morning, Banerjee was greeted with angry protests from its employees who feared loss of jobs due to cancellation of the hospital licence by the government after the fire.
