Madhya Pradesh: BJP registers sweeping victory in municipal polls

Expressing his delight with the verdict of the civic polls in Madhya Pradesh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday thanked the people for reposing their trust in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has won in all 16 municipal corporations in Madhya Pradesh on Sunday. BJP's Mukesh Tandon won from the Vidisha municipal corporation. BJP's Meena Jonwal from Ujjain has also registered victory.

Expressing his delight with the verdict of the civic polls in Madhya Pradesh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday thanked the people for reposing their trust in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has also expressed his delight with the BJP's splendid show in the civic polls. 

"This has happened for the first time in history of state that BJP is going to register its victory in all 16 Municipal corporations. Congress must introspect and understand that politics of imposing allegations, defaming state will not work," said Chauhan.
