A 77-year-old man, who had gone to a hospital to take back the body of his grandson, died after a tree fell on him, police said today.
Sukkar Kashyap went to a hospital in Roorkee area of Haridwar yesterday where the body of his grandson Pinku was kept for postmortem, they said.
While he was waiting inside the hospital premises, an old tree suddenly fell on him killing him on the spot.
Pinku had died in mysterious circumstances yesterday for which his grandfather called for a postmortem to ascertain the exact cause of his death.
