A man was injured today when a metallic girder on which he and his friends were sitting toppled over at a Metro site in south Delhi. The incident was reported from the construction site of Green Park Metro station this afternoon.
"Four-to-five men had entered the barricaded area and were sitting on the metallic girder. Due to their weight, the girder toppled over and one of them got injured on their ankle," a Metro official said. The injured person was taken to AIIMS Trauma Centre.
