A man has been apprehended on Monday under suspicion of "spying" after he was found taking photographs around Air force station in Chandan area in the district.
The man was nabbed by the by Air force personnel and handed over to the police for detailed interrogation, defence spokesperson Lt Col Manish Ojha said. Jaisalmer Superintendent of Police (SP), Rajiv Pachar said they are interrogating the accused jointly with the intelligence agencies.
"The man was taking photographs of some construction which was going around the Air Force station area. His motive is being ascertained," the SP said.
Police sources suspect that the person might turn out to be a "spy".
