Students who had come to a mall in Mangaluru on Tuesday were allegedly harassed by a mall employee. According to a report in The Hindu, the mall employee identified as Mansoor was one of the five people who turned moral police and harassed the three students who belonged to different religions.

The police spoke to the students’ parents, post which one of them filed a police complaint. The incident had been recorded by CCTV cameras and visitors also clicked photos during the incident.

The police arrested Mansoor and released him on bail. They are on the look-out for the other four. This is another incident in the series of moral policing crimes that have been committed in Mangaluru in recent years.
