Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is likely to meet Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf in Cuba on the sidelines of the NAM Summit next month.

NEW DELHI: Amid a chill in bilateral ties, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is likely to meet Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf in Cuba on the sidelines of the NAM Summit next month.

Sources said this as the Prime Minister held discussions with Foreign Secretary Shyam Saran and Indian envoy to Pakistan Shiv Shanker Menon here on the NAM Summit.

Singh will attend the NAM Summit to be held in Havana on September 15-16. Musharraf will also be attending the Summit and there is a possibility of a bilateral meeting, the sources said.

The said meeting would take place in the backdrop of war of words and freeze on the two-year-old dialogue process in the aftermath of July 11 Mumbai serial blasts.

The meeting would provide an opportunity for airing of India's concerns at the highest level with regard to continued cross-border terrorism.

New Delhi has expressed disappointment over the fact that Islamabad has not dismantled the terror infrastructure existing on territories under its control despite giving assurances two years back.

Before meeting the Prime Minister, Saran held consultations with regard to the NAM preparations with senior officials of his ministry.
