Uttar Pradesh chief minister and BSP leader Mayawati would be in Mumbai this weekend, on a visit aimed at strengthening the party's base in the state.
"Bahen Mayawati will be in the state on June 25 and 26 and her visit is aimed at building the party organisation in Maharashtra," BSP state unit chief Vilas Garud said.
During her two-day visit, Mayawati would inaugurate party office 'BSP Bhawan' in the suburban Chembur and also address a party workers' rally at Goregaon, Garud said.
