Security preparedness was inspected by carrying out two mock drills in the national capital today.
The drill was conducted at IGI sport complex near ITO and at Hudsun Lane NDPL House near Maurice Nagar, police said.
During the mock exercise, information about bomb blasts and casualties at these two locations was transmitted and police and bomb disposal squads were rushed to the spot.
"This is the drill which we routinely carry out to check the preparedness of our security forces and other agencies," a senior police officer said.
