Chief minister Narendra Modi on Thursday paid tribute to martyr, major Rishikesh Ramani, who died in Jammu & Kashmir while fighting with the terrorists.
Modi met the family of the martyr and said that his great sacrifice will provide great motivation to the nation.
Reasserting zero tolerance towards terrorism, Modi said, "It is unfortunate that terrorism is claiming lives of youths like Major Ramani for last 25 years." He said that the country should avenge such killings. The 27-year-old army officer was killed in a gunbattle with the terrorists in Kupwara district Kashmir on June 7.
