PATIALA: Economist and Planning Commission Deputy Chairman Montek Singh Ahluwalia was on Sunday chosen as 'Punjabi of the Year' by a Patiala-based magazine.
He would be honoured with the "Punjab Today Award" in New Delhi on November 15.
This was stated by Kanwar Manjit Singh, Editor-in-Chief, Punjab Today.
The magazine in association with the 'Punjab Today Foundation' had been conferring the award annually on Punjabis for their contribution in different spheres, he said.
