Mortal remains of IAF men killed in crash brought to Delhi

The mortal remains of two IAF personnel, who were among the 13 killed in the recent AN-32 aircraft crash in Arunachal Pradesh, arrived here on Saturday.

The mortal remains of two IAF personnel, who were among the 13 killed in the recent AN-32 aircraft crash in Arunachal Pradesh, arrived here on Saturday on its on-ward journey to their respective homes in Jind in Haryana and Nangloi in West Delhi.
    
Flight Lieutenant V Kumar and Master Warrant Officer Ramesh were among the seven IAF personnel and six Army men on board the ill-fated transport aircraft on Tuesday that crashed after taking off from Mechuka advanced landing ground in the state bordering China.

Amid full military honours, the bodies of the two IAF personnel were received at the Palam airport, where it arrived by an Air Force Avro aircraft, here by senior Air Force
officers. The last rites of the two deceased IAF personnel will be held in their native places, where it was taken by road soon after, officials added.
