Mumbai airport hasn't received any threat letter: Police

The city is on high alert in the wake of several arrests of alleged ISIS sympathisers across the country.

The Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport here has not received any threat letter, police has said.

Reacting to rumours that the airport had received a threat letter, a senior police officer said, "They (airport) haven't received such letter. It was just an information call in the airport control room."

In the wake of arrests of alleged IS sympathisers in the past few days, the city is on high alert and the rumour of threat to the airport raised security concerns.
