A Mumbai police official on Thursday met accused Indrani mukerjea's son Mikhail Bora in Guwahati, who had claimed to have evidence relating to the sensational Sheena Bora murder case. The police officer, who arrived at the house of Mikhail Bora this afternoon, told waiting journalists, "It is a sensitive case. Investigation is on".

To persistent questions, he said, "first let me investigate. Let me do my work. After discussions inside, I'll inform you all".

A city court on Thursday granted a five-day remand to the Mumbai Police for Sanjeev Khanna, an accused in the murder of Sheena Bora and former husband of the prime accused Indrani mukerjea, after rejecting his bail plea. Chief Judicial Magistrate, Alipore Court, Rajesh Chakraborty accepted the remand prayer of Mumbai Police and directed it to produce him before a designated Mumbai court by September one. The judge rejected the bail prayer of Khanna, who claimed he was innocent.
