The Kerala High Court today fixed October 14 as the date of hearing the bail applications of four accused in the murder of businessman Paul Muthoot George.

The case diary was also produced by the police today before Justice KT Shankaran, hearing the bail applications of the four accused â€” Sunil, Aneesh Kumar, Binoy Markose and Jain Jose.

The judge posted the bail applications for October 14.

The accused submitted before the court that they were in judicial custody since August 23. Earlier, the Alapuzha Sessions Court had dismissed their bail pleas.

George, executive director of the Kerala-based Muthoot Group, was murdered by a gang at a deserted place near Alapuzha on August 22. The Muthoot group has interests in several areas, including financing and hospitality industry.
