Narcotics smuggler held, 5.2 kg charas recovered in JK

A narcotics smuggler was arrested and 5.2 kg charas recovered from his possession in Jammu and Kashmir's Kathua district, police said here today.
The smuggler identified as Saab Dayal alias Saabu was arrested when he was filling the drugs in packets in Kathua town, about 80 km from here, yesterday, they said.
The accused was a vegetable seller and used to sell charas to local people by mixing it in fruits, they said.
A case under NDPS Act has been registered against him at Kathua police station, they added.
