the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) arrested four more persons in connection with the killings at Netai village near Lalgarh allegedly by Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPI-M) supporters on January seven.
CBI sources said Pintu Roy, Swapan Roy, Gandhi Baran Roy and Raju Roy were arrested from Sasabera village in Goaltore in West Midnapore district on Sunday for complicity in the killing of nine persons.
They were produced here today in the ACJM's court which remanded them in five days' judicial custody. A test identification parade will be held in Jhargram town on March 17, sources said.
With the arrest, eight persons have been rounded up in connection with the incident.
Calcutta high court on February 18 had ordered the CBI to investigate the Netai carnage.
