A Nigerian national was today found dead in his friend's rented accommodation in the capital with police suspecting it to be a case of drug overdose.
The deceased person Henry, 25, reach Delhi three days ago and was staying at his friend Ottavio's rented accommodation in Savitri Nagar.
He was found lying on the floor with froth oozing out of his mouth by the landlord who informed the police this morning, a senior police official said.
Henry was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead.
Ottavio who is staying in India for the past one year was not at home when his friend was found dead.
Police suspect that Henry died due to drug overdose, the official said.
The body has been sent for post-mortem and further investigations are on.
