Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit today parried questions on reports claiming that she has been blamed for irregularities in Commonwealth Games works by a probe committee.
"I have got it through media and I don't have any idea about the report," Dikshit told reporters.
Top officials indicated that the city government has not got any communication from the prime minister's office on the VK Shunglu committee report. "We don't have any idea about it," a senior official said.
Media reports claimed that the Shunglu committee looking into alleged irregularities in Games works has indicted Delhi Lt governor Tejinder Khanna and Dikshit, among others, for delays and losses in projects.
The panel submitted two reports -- one on the Games Village and the other on city's infrastructure development for the sports event -- that nails the role of Delhi government, its agencies and central agencies, according to media reports.
The committee was appointed by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in October last year, just a day after the mega event ended, to probe allegations of corruption, misappropriation of funds, irregularities and weaknesses in management of the Games.
