Now a Facebook page to find missing kids in India

A Facebook page has been made by the secretary of the National Human Rights Commissions, Sanjay Joshi, to find the missing kids or get any useful information about them. The page will be uploading the photographs of the kids and those who are into begging across the country and will be eventually circulated to the parents and the relatives of the missing kids to get leads.

The name of the Facebook page is savethechild.india which was made on Friday evening and got around 100 members in the first 24 hours. The members will eventually keep posting the photographs and the details of the kids whom they find anywhere working or begging in any part of the country.

Joshi told DNA this is a unique initiative and will help parents to a large extent. "It has been found that the authorities and the police have completely failed to find the missing kids. Such an initiative will build a national network to find them."

The activists expect that the page will get a good response from the country's population. "With this initiative, I expect that the fight to find the missing kids will get good support and help the hapless parents," he said.

The statistical data and the information of the missing kids from Gujarat have already been posted on the page. . "The Facebook users will know about the missing kids and their pictures from the state along with all their details. The profile can be seen by everyone around the world," he said.

A website to find the missing kids had already been made by Joshi and the similar details have been posted. The issue of missing kids has become very serious in the last few months, as many kids across the city have been missing. The CID (Crime) and the local police have woken up to the serious issue of the missing kids.
