A 40-year-old man was charred to death and three others, including two women, fainted in a fire that broke out at a fireworks shop here today, police said.     Dhanasekar, owner of the shop, died on the spot while two women and a man, living nearby, fainted due to suffocation. They have been admitted to Government hospital for treatment.     The shop was reduced to ashes and three adjoining houses suffered damage as the crackers and other fireworks stored in the shop exploded, they said.     The fire was caused by short circuit when the owner switched on a light after opening the shop, they said, adding it was put out by fire service personnel after two hours.     The shop had licence to sell the fireworks, mainly for temple festivals.     Officials said an investigation had been ordered into the accident.
