At least one person was killed and two others injured in a blast that took at a scrap dealers shop in Kondhwa, Pune on Tuesday.

At least one person was killed and two others injured in a blast that took at a scrap dealers shop in Kondhwa, Pune on Tuesday.

The shop is located at the Khadi machine chowk, Kondhwa, a local market place with several other shops.

"One of the workers at the shop died because of the blast and two more are injured. We are investigating the reason behind the blast. No cylinders were involved according to the reports we have received so far," said an official of Kondhwa police station.

On the same day, another blast took place at Narayangaon, around 77 kilometres from Pune. A motor cycle blast occurred when the owner tried to start the ignition. Apparently a case of personal enemy as explosives were set on the bike.

"Further investigations in the case is on, the owner of the bike is injured" said and officials from Narayangaon police station.
