City-based Shalby Hospital, located on SG Highway opposite Karnavati Club, has been certified with National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare (NABH) Services on Friday. NABH is a part of the Quality Council of India, which encourages and ensures quality healthcare services.
According to the hospital authorities, they have got the accreditation within six months of applying for it which is
considered to be the fastest in the city. The idea behind getting the NABH certificate for the hospital was to make it 100 percent error free.
Commenting on their success, CMD of Shalby Hospital, Dr Vikram Shah, who is said to be one of the best knee surgeons in the country, said "We are feeling extremely proud about the achievement. This will not only improve the quality of treatment and life of people but will also put the system in better order." The 200-bed Shalby Hospitals got the NABH accreditation in less than six months. "The reason for the fast accreditation is that Shalby Hospitals was designed to deliver the best quality healthcare services right from its inception stage," said Shah.
Shalby Hospitals is also planning to come up with a new hospital with bigger and better facility soon.
