With busy and fast moving life, many believe that their children may not have the time to do a pind daan after their death. So much is the concern that the ritual is now being performed online and a large number of people have accepted this trend too.

Prashant Verma of Holiday Voyage, engaged in this business, said, "We have got a lot of bookings. People make the payment and ask us to perform the pind daan after they die. They aren't confident if their children will have time for the ritual."

If people are not able to go to Gaya, the city of moksha, to perform the pind daan of their ancestors, then they can do it right from home. Bihar Tourism has brought out a special package for those who are busy. Through this, one can do the pind daan of their forefathers' and can also watch the video of the whole process sitting at the comfort of their homes. For this, one needs to spend up to Rs 20,000. The sum includes the fees of the pujari which is Rs 19,000 and GST of Rs 950. The videography fees are also included in this package.

If you find this package expensive, then there are other budget options available too. Many companies are now offering different packages for online pind daan starting at Rs 20,000.
