Pakistani intruder shot dead by BSF during infiltration bid near Attari border, Pak refuses to claim body

The Border Security Force (BSF) shot down a Pakistani intruder on Wednesday who was trying to cross along the India-Pakistan border in Attari.

A BSP personnel had discovered a Pakistani intruder who was trying to cross the border through railway track near Attari.

The intruder was seen moving towards the gate number 103 near the zero line fence at Attari. He was issued a warning by the BSF to which he did not adhere to.

When the intruder did not pay heed to BSF's warning, the personnel opened fire at him. The man is identified as Gulnawaz.

Following the incident, a flag meeting with the Pakistani rangers was also called by the BSF to enlighten them on the infiltration bid by Pakistani intruder.

The BSF also asked Pakistani Rangers to claim the body but they refused to do.

After the incident, the security forces called out for a search operation along the border as a precautionary measure to make sure there aren't any other infiltration bids being made from the Pakistani side.
