August 25, 2007
Twin blasts at Lumbini Park near the secretariat during a laser show and Gokul Chat, a popular eatery in Koti. 44 people were killed and 70 were injured.

May 18, 2007
Bomb exploded at Mecca Masjid. 10 people were killed and 50 were injured. The bomb was triggered by mobile phones. 3 other bombs were defused.

 May 7, 2006

Two persons were injured in a crude bomb blast inside Odeon Deluxe theatre at RTC crossroads. There were no causalities. The blast took place around 10.30 pm, a few minutes before the interval.

October 12, 2005
 A powerful bomb explosion ripped through the office of the commissioner of the task force in Somajiguda, about 100 metres from Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy’s official residence. Two persons were reportedly killed.

March 30, 2003
A minor blast took place near the Saidabad police station. The explosion occurred when two women, working as sweepers at the police station, lit some waste material in a vacant spot behind the police station. It did not cause any damage to life and property.

November 21, 2002

Ten people were injured, some of them grievously, when a powerful bomb planted in a scooter exploded close to the Sai Baba temple at Dilsukhnagar.
