President Pratibha Patil, vice-president Hamid Ansari, UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi and her children Rahul and Priyanka were among the early voters in the national capital on Thursday.
While Patil voted at a booth inside the President Estate, Ansari and Gandhi along with Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit voted at the booth in high-profile Nirman Bhawan.
Rahul exercised his franchise at a booth in Aurangzeb Lane and his sister Priyanka along with her husband Robert Vadra voted at the Vidyabhavan Mahavidyalaya booth at Lodhi estate, 20 metres from her 35 Lodhi Estate residence.
Former Delhi Lt governor Vijay Kapoor along with his wife and cabinet secretary KM Chandershekhar also voted in the Aurangzeb Lane booth.
