A 48-year-old pilot of a private airline was injured when a speeding SUV hit his car from behind in south Delhi, the police said today.
Tarun Dhimar, a pilot with Kingfisher Airlines, was on his way to the airport when the accident took place in the Vasant Kunj area last night, the police said.
A speeding Scorpio hit his car and the driver fled from the spot abandoning the vehicle.
Dhimar was rushed to a private hospital where he is undergoing treatment.
The police is yet to record his statement.
