PM Modi's new Cabinet: Full list of ministers with names and portfolios

As many as 43 ministers, including new and old, took oath on Wednesday evening.

The much-anticipated cabinet reshuffle of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi government took place on Wednesday. As many as 43 ministers, including new and old, took oath at the Rashtrapati Bhavan that was administered by the President of India Ram Nath Kovind. 

Just after the reshuffle of the Modi 2.0 cabinet, the portfolios have also been assigned. A key thing to note is that Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself will now head the Ministry of Science and Technology. Home Minister Amit Shah will look after the cooperative ministry that came into existence for the first time and Dharmendra Pradhan's has been given the Education Ministry. Earlier, he was the Petroleum Minister. Jyotiraditya Scindia, who left Congress and joined BJP, has also been given a good portfolio.

Dr Ashwini Vaishnav is the new Minister of Railways as well as the Minister of Electronics and Information Technology. Mansukh Mandaviya is the new Health Minister. Anurag Thakur is India's new Sports Minister as well as the Information & Broadcasting Minister. Jyotiraditya Scindia has been appointed as Union Minister of Civil Aviation.
