Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday wished his Cabinet colleague and Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar on his 60th birthday.
"Wishing Manohar Parrikar & @drharshvardhan on their birthday. They are admired for their simplicity & hardwork. I pray for their long life," the Prime Minister tweeted. Other leaders, including Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, Union Minister of State for Commerce and Industry Nirmala Sitharaman and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadanavis, also tweeted to wish Parrikar on his birthday.
Parrikar celebrated his 60th birthday with family and friends in the morning ahead of a public reception scheduled this evening. His close family members and friends were seen present at his private residence in Taleigao near here since morning.
