Whether he makes it to the Raisina Hill or not, Garo Hills in Meghalaya, home of BJP-backed aspirant PA Sangma, is upbeat about the presidential polls.
Tribal men and women offered prayers for Sangma who was born at Chapathi village in the West Garo Hills.
That a person from a remote village in the northeast could contest the Presidential election was what Garo tribals are upbeat about, Sangma's son Conrad said here.
