The concept and design of the monument will be finalised in consultation with eminent Sikh scholars, intellectuals and religious personalities, an official release quoting chief minister Parkash Singh Badal said.

Badal was addressing a religious gathering here, it said.

The three martyrs were killed along with the Sikhs' ninth Guru Teg Bahadur while fighting with Mughals at Chandni Chowk in Delhi.

The Chief Minister said that the unparallelled sacrifice of Guru Teg Bahadur ji will ever remain a source of inspiration for generations to come.
