According to a report in Zee News, Radhe Maa has now been accused of instigating six people to commit suicide. The charges against her have been filed and the matter reportedly pertains to Gujarat's Kutch area. Apparently, all six individuals had given up their wealth to the godwoman.
Police inspector Sudhir Dalvi told ANI that the Mumbai police have served a notice to Radhe Maa and she will have to appear at Kandivili police station within four days. Talking exclusively to Zee Media, the godwoman had denied that she was involved in the dowry harassment case.
Speaking to Zee News reporter Ashwini Pandey, the controversial godwoman said: “The complainant, Nikki Gupta is very poor. If I have not take anything from my daughter-in-laws who belong to royal families, then why will I take money from a poor person who doesn't have anything to eat?”
When asked about advocate Falguni Brahmbhatt's claims about obscenity, her aide Chote Maa asked the reporter to check the lawyer's background and said, “If she (Falguni) wears a salwar-suit in court, does she wear the same clothes at her home?” Her aide added that she didn't know who released Radhe Maa's pictures to the public. Radhe Maa also received support from celebrities. Prahlad kakkar was quoted saying: “Why should sadhus wear rags and dreadlocks? Radhe Maa’s style makes her unique.” Talking to mediaperson on Saturday, the godwoman broke down and said that god would give her justice when asked about her involvement in the domestic violence case. She told the media, “I don't want to say anything, God will do justice to me.”
