AICC General Secretary Rahul Gandhi will visit Tripura for two days from November 8 with the state unit gearing up to campaign against 'corruption and failure' of the Left Front government in implementing central schemes.

Gandhi will address a public gathering at Dharmanagar town in North Tripura and another at Udaipur in South Tripura, vice-president of Tripura Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC), Tapas De said today.

"We have been instructed to organise statewide movements against corruption in the government, nepotism of CPI(M) leaders and failure to properly implement the flagship programmes of the central government," De told reporters.

He said that the movement would be intensified with the aim of winning the next assembly elections due in 2013.
