Former Chairman of Satyam Computers B Ramalinga Raju continues to remain in Intensive Coronary Care Unit (ICCU) at Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) here, though his condition is stable, doctors said today.

Raju, who was admitted to NIMS on September 7 with chest pain, had suffered a cardiac arrest and underwent an angiogram last evening and he is still undergoing treatment in ICCU, they said.

As per the angiogram report, three vessels of Raju's heart were found to have blocks, sources said. However, based on the angiogram report, NIMS cardiology Head of Department Dr D Seshagiri Rao would decide tomorrow whether Raju needs to undergo stenting, a doctor on duty said.

Raju has already undergone a series of medical tests, including ECG and ECO, and the reports of these tests have been forwarded to Chanchalguda jail authorities which are the custodian of Raju where he was in judicial remand along with others in connection with the multi-crore accounting fraud in Satyam computers, since January this year.
