Asking cadre to ensure that every voter is contacted in an "intensive campaign" for the Lok Sabha elections, Shah said there are as many as 22 crore beneficiaries and every karyakarta is tasked to reach out to at least 10 beneficiaries.

"The 2019 Lok Sabha election is significant for the country as well as the BJP. If we win, we will rule from Parliament to Panchayat for the time to come," Shah said.

The BJP president asked the party workers to go back to their respective states with a pledge to ensure BJP's victory in the Lok Sabha elections.

"Recently, three election results were not good. But I want to tell party workers that our opponents have won but we have not been defeated," he said.

The BJP president lashed out at Congress saying the party during its rule has "weakened" the democracy and "halted" development. "The troika of casteism, nepotism and appeasement policy are the contribution of Congress to the nation," he said.
