After Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb’s ‘duck-oxygen theory’, now Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has offered a unique solution to deal with the monkey menace.

“Recite Hanuman Chalisa and worship Lord Hanuman every day, monkeys will never bite or harm you”, was the unique solution offered by the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister to the people during his visit to Mathura on Friday.

The Chief Minister gave this bizarre solution in Vrindavan when his attention was drawn towards monkey menace in the area. “Believe me, monkeys will never bite or harm you after seeing you worshipping Lord Hanuman and reciting Hanuman Chalisa,” he claimed.

After offering his unique solution for monkey menace, he shared his personal experience at Gorakhnath temple and asked people to follow. “I was working in office in Gorakhnath dham when a monkey came and jumped into my lap. I gave him a banana. It became a routine. Monkey will come, sit in my lap and after getting a banana will go away,” said he.

“One day, a worker shouted on the monkey sitting on my lap. Next day, the monkey came and attacked on the worker. When I admonished the monkey and he climbed to a nearby tree,” shared Yogi Adityanth.

The Chief Minister explained the crux of the tale: “Don’t scare them away. If you love monkeys then they will also reciprocate and will never harm or bite you.”

The Chief Minister said that he is aware of monkey menace in Vrindavan-Mathura. “I have already directed Nagar Nigam to ensure that stray dogs and monkeys don’t pose any threat to locals and visitors,” said he.

He also announced to provide ten acres of land for the construction of a creation ground for cows. He appealed people to donate Rs 1 every day for Gau-sewa and cow protection.
