Coming out in support of Anna Hazare's campaign, Rukhsana, the Kashmiri girl who was awarded the Kirti Chakra for fighting militants, today said that she will join the Gandhian in Delhi in his "war against corruption".

"I support Anna Hazare and his war against corruption. I pray for his long life and his success in his movement," Rukhsana told PTI.

Rukhsana, who along with her younger brother Aijaz, fought a group of three foreign militants of Lashker-e-Toiba (LeT) and killed its Commander Abu Usama in Rajouri district on September 27, 2009, said, "I will go to New Delhi and join Anna in his movement at Ramlila Maidan to lend my full support in the war against corruption".

For her bravery, she was awarded Kirti Chakra -- the second highest gallantry award in peace time -- on January 26 last year followed by National Bravery Award, Sarvottam Jeevan Raksha Padak, Sardar Patel Award, Rani Jhansi Bravery Award and Astha Award and many cash awards.

Jammu and Kashmir Police has appointed her as a police constable.

She justified Anna's struggle and urged the government to consider the demand for Jan Lokpal in order to weed out corruption and nepotism from the country.

"I have also decided to go on fast for a few days along with Anna at Ramlila ground in Delhi," she said, adding she was praying for the Gandhian's long life.

The brave girl, who bagged Rs6.40 lakh in Amitabh Bachchan hosted TV show Kaun Banega Crorepati, said she would donate half of the amount to charity.
