Prime accused in the Malegaon blast case Sadhvi Pragnya Singh Thakur, was today taken to the Nashik civil hospital for medical check-up, Central jail officials said.
The sadhvi, who was recently shifted to Nashik Road Central jail from Ayurveda Seva Sangh hospital following a life threat, was today brought to Nashik Civil Hospital for check-up of spondalitis problem, they told PTI.
For the last couple of months she was undergoing treatement at the Ayurveda Seva Sangh hospital, they said.
During her judicial custody in the Central jail since March 17, she was on liquid diet, however, her health and blood pressure was normal but as per court's directives she was sent to Nashik Civil hospital for medical check-up, the jail authorities said.
It is not yet known whether Sadhvi will be hospitalised or not, the hospital official said.
