President-hopeful PA Sangma, who broke into an impromptu jig to tribal music in Bhopal on Sunday, today failed to shake a leg to Goan numbers due to time constraints.
"There is a similarity between the northeast and Goa. The people in these places don't talk, they sing; don't walk, they dance," Sangma told reporters while sharing a lighter moment.
The opposition nominee met BJP MLAs and ministers as part of his campaign for the July 19 presidential election.
"I wish I had time to do that," he said.
The former Lok Sabha Speaker had danced with the tribals at Bhopal in presence of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
During his visit to Goa, Sangma met MLAs of BJP, Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party and Goa Vikas Party besides four independents who have pledged him support for the July 19 election.
